Amwell man charged with assaulting woman at Star Lake concert
An Amwell Township man was charged Wednesday with aggravated assault after Hanover Township police said he attacked a woman at a concert earlier in the month.
Police said Lance Edward Hickman, 24, was attending the Jason Aldean concert at The Pavilion at Star Lake on Aug. 10 when he got into an argument with a woman and pushed her to the ground, causing her to strike her head when she fell.
The woman was initially knocked unconscious and later taken to a hospital for treatment, while Hickman left the concert before police arrived to investigate.
Hanover police also charged Hickman with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. Online court documents show Hickman is awaiting arraignment on the charges, which were filed at District Judge Gary Havelka’s office.
