One injured in Washington shooting
Washington police are investigating after a man was shot in the city Sunday morning.
Officers were called at about 2 a.m. to the intersection of East Maiden and South Main streets, according to Washington police Chief Steve Devenney.
Devenney said the man was initially taken to UPMC Washington hospital, and flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. His injuries were not life threatening.
According to Devenney, police have not identified a suspect in the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to call Washington police at 723-223-4226.
