Donora man charged in Uniontown assault.
Uniontown police charged a Donora man for allegedly assaulting a woman this week.
Michael William Jones, 26, faces felony charges of aggravated assault, burglary and strangulation.
According to the criminal complaint, at about 11 p.m. Sunday Jones arrived at the woman’s home in the 30 block of Prospect Street. Charging documents state that Jones attacked her following a verbal argument. Jones allegedly shoved her against the wall and choked her.
Police said that Jones returned Monday afternoon and broke in through a window. The woman told police that Jones choked her and pointed a gun at her.
Online court records indicate there is an active warrant for Jones’ arrest.
