One person killed in Route 188 crash in Jefferson
One person died Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Greene County.
Linda K. Morris was driving on Route 188 through Jefferson Borough when she was involved in the crash with another vehicle shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Greene County coroner’s office.
Morris, 55, of Jefferson, was pronounced dead by the coroner about an hour later. The cause and manner of her death are pending the results of an autopsy.
It’s not known if anyone else was injured in the crash. No other information was released by state police, which is the agency investigating the crash.
