One person died Sunday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Canonsburg.

The crash happened about 1:30 p.m. at First Street and Hooks Lane in the borough, according to the Washington County coroner’s office.

The driver, Joyce Gray, 58, of Washington, was taken by ambulance to Canonsburg Hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later, the coroner’s office said in a release. Her cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy.

It’s not known if the occupants of the other vehicle were injured.

Canonsburg police are investigating the crash, and were assisted at the scene by Canonsburg firefighters.
