Attending were South Strabane firefighter Wesley Attwood and Jacob Coen, who is a volunteer at Lawrence Fire Company in Cecil Township. Attwood explained that the training went over the basics of managing wildland incidents, such as large brush fires. According to Attwood, climate change has led to an increase in brush fires being reported locally.
