Uniontown Detailing offers one-stop shop for vehicle care needs

Whether it’s a brand-new sports car or the older family minivan, having a clean and functional vehicle not only makes it last longer but it feels good too.
Mike Homer, co-owner of Uniontown Detailing, has 25 years in the automotive industry and comes from a family with a long history of automotive knowledge.
Matt Moreland, Homer’s business partner, spent more than 15 years in retail management and several more in the car business before finding a home in the detailing business.
“I’ve always had a passion for cars from all aspects. I really enjoy the customer service piece of it and the satisfaction of transforming something to get positive results,” Moreland said.
At Uniontown Detailing, they offer a variety of services and even go above and beyond the typical detailing options.
They offer ceramic coating, paint correction, paintless dent repair, undercoating and window tinting.
Ceramic coating and undercoating both help to protect the vehicle, similar to the way wax would, but are longer lasting. Customers can choose a ceramic coating three years, six years, or the lifetime of the vehicle.
“Ceramic coatings are an investment, and we want to offer options for everyone. We have non-warranty and warrantied options,” Moreland said. “The undercoating creates the barrier to prevent and protect against rust.”
Paint correction can eliminate surface scratches, marring, water etching and oxidation, and dent repair restores the vehicle to its former appearance, something Moreland said was a “huge perk” when compared to the cost of body shop repairs.
“We’re here to preserve the value of your vehicle. They are not cheap and we want you to get the most for it when you’re ready to sell or trade it in,” Moreland said. “We want to offer an all-inclusive experience for those that care about the interior and exterior of the car so we offer every service possible for car care and preservation.”
Of course, when it comes to interior detailing, some vehicles prove to be more challenging than others.
Any parent with children who eat in the car or perhaps pet owners know the damage that can be done to cloth seats and floorboards, but Moreland said that doesn’t stop them from doing their best.
“There’s always something we can do. I think we typically over deliver,” Moreland said. “We have the experience and the right tools and the desire to get things done to the customer’s satisfaction.”
The experts at Uniontown Detailing also look for ways to give back to their customers, and recently launched a new loyalty program. Those who download their app for iPhone or Android devices can sign up and earn 3% back on their services.
The app will also display current promotions and additional savings.
