Assault alleged: Clifford Alexander Richmond, 34, of Donegal Township, was charged Friday by Donegal Township police with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment. According to the criminal complaint, shortly before midnight Thursday police were called to Richmond’s home at 14 Sheppard Road after Richmond was accused of shooting a firearm at an unidentified man who was repossessing his car. Richmond was arraigned Friday morning before District Judge James Saieva, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond.

Assault alleged: Nicholas Morgan Mangieri, 44, of Peters Township, was charged Thursday by Peters Township police with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. According to the criminal complaint, at about 5:15 a.m. Thursday police were called to Mangieri’s home in the 100 block of Brooke Drive after receiving a report that he was smashing objects in the house. When officers arrived Mangieri allegedly lunged at an officer and attempted to strike him in the face, according to the complaint. Charging documents state that it took four officers to get Mangieri in the back of a police car. He was arraigned Thursday morning before District Judge Phillippe Melograne, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $100,000 bond.

Child pornography: Trevor Korba, 23, of Washington, was charged Thursday by the attorney general’s office with possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility. According to the criminal complaint, social media platform Snapchat reported in October that an account had shared a video of depicting the sexual abuse of children. Investigators traced the account to Korba and served a search warrant Thursday at his North Franklin Street apartment. Charging documents state that investigators found a phone containing several files of suspected child sexual abuse material. Korba was arraigned Thursday morning before District Judge Kelly Stewart, who sent him to the Washington County jail without bond.
