A Canonsburg man was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh Thursday on 11 charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors.

Justin A. Darby, 36, is accused by the Department of Justice of receiving, attempting to receive or distributing child sexual abuse material on multiple occasions in September and October 2021, as well as one occasion this past February.

According to the DOJ, Darby induced a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct in February. He also faces charges for destroying his messaging history, the DOJ said.

If convicted, Darby would face up to 30 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both.
