Washington Business district to host trick-or-treat Oct. 26
The Washington Downtown Business District will be hosting a trick-or-treat from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 26.
More than 20 downtown locations will hand out candy to children of all ages wearing their favorite costumes. Participating storefronts will be decorated with balloons to help identify the candy stops. Parents or guardians are required to accompany their children.
This “spooky spectacular” is free and being organized by four downtown businesses – Rock Star Tees & Gifts, Kaleidoscope II, Munch Ladies and Pretzels Plus.
“A downtown trick-or-treat is something we have wanted to do for three years now, and I am proud and excited that our businesses have come together to bring the community a fun, new event,” said Shana Brown, director of the business district authority.
