A Uniontown woman died following a head-on collision in Fallowfield Township this week.

Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco identified Tuesday’s crash victim as 36-year-old Tiffany Rider.

Rider was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle headed east on Old 71. The crash occurred at about 8:45 p.m. when a westbound vehicle crossed the centerline. According to Warco, Rider was not wearing a seat belt.

According to state police, multiple people were taken by helicopter and ambulance to local hospitals. Police have not released additional information on the crash or the identities of either driver.

Also responding to the accident were Fallowfield Township Fire Department, as well as Brownsville, Tri-Community and Rostraver EMS.
