1 min read

One person was flown to Pittsburgh Thursday after a construction vehicle hit a worker on Interstate 70 in Somerset Township.

According to the Washington County 911 supervisor, first responders were called at about 12:38 p.m. to the 25.1 mile marker on I-70 east, just past the Eighty-Four exit.

It was not immediately clear how the accident occurred, or how badly the worker was injured. The worker was flown to an unspecified Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
