Fatal crash victim identified as Peters Township woman
A Peters Township woman died after losing control of her vehicle Sunday afternoon.
Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco identified her as Sandra Zuraw, 77. According to Warco, Zuraw crashed at about 12:15 p.m. near 4007 Washington Road in Peters Township.
Zuraw was transported to Canonsburg Hospital where she was declared dead at 1:01 p.m. According to Warco, it is not clear if she was wearing a seatbelt.
Zuraw’s specific cause and manner of death are pending further investigation. Warco said it is probable the accident was the result of a medical event.
Peters Township police are investigating.
