Carmichaels man charged with deceptive business practices
A Carmichaels man is accused of accepting money for work but failing to complete it.
Between late spring and summer of this year, nine Fayette County residents gave Brian Roy Kozy, 41, a down payment for work through his business Seal-Rite, police said.
All of those customers reported Kozy did not perform the work. The total loss to the alleged victims was $1,550, police said.
Kozy faces 24 total counts including deceptive business practices, theft by deception and failing to perform services for which he was paid.
He has yet to be arraigned in the case.
