Plenty of pups will be on hand at Saturday’s “Woofstock” festival.

The Washington Area Humane Society will be hosting its fifth annual Woofstock this Saturday.

The one-day, pet-friendly festival will be held at Wild Things Park in North Franklin Township from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be pet contests, dog yoga, raffles, pet grooming, vendors and live music. The humane society is expecting about 400 people to attend.

This is the organization’s largest fundraising event and has already raised $16,000 of the $20,000 goal.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5. Children 10 and younger will be admitted for free. All pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccine. Tickets can be purchased online at weblink.donorperfect.com/wahs-woofstock2024.
