This black SUV owned by Jennah Marie Seiber, who was shot and killed at a Rostraver Township home Friday, was located in Monongahela hours after her body was discovered.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in connection with a woman’s shooting death in Rostraver Township last week after her SUV was discovered in Monongahela shortly after her killing.

Rostraver police responded to a home in the 400 block of Lenity School Road in the township shortly after noon Friday and found the body of 24-year-old Jennah Marie Seibert inside, according to the Westmoreland County coroner’s office.

The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s office issued a press release Friday indicating Seibert’s death was considered suspicious, but divulged few other details about what occurred.

Melanie Jones, who is a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office, confirmed Monday that Seibert died of a gunshot wound and her death is being investigated as a homicide.

Also on Monday, the office released photographs taken from a surveillance video showing a bearded man wearing a jacket and knit hat purchasing items at an unidentified convenience store. The district attorney’s office did not identify the man, but said investigators believe he is a person of interest in Seibert’s death.

Investigators found Seibert’s black Lexus SUV in Monongahela on Friday hours after her body was discovered, although they did not say where in the city it was located or what evidence they have tying the person of interest to it.

Anyone with information on the man in the surveillance video or if they saw the victim’s SUV before it was discarded in Monongahela are asked to call Rostraver Township police at 724-929-4111. The Westmoreland County district attorney’s detectives are assisting in the investigation.
