Boil water advisory lifted

The boil water advisory that had been in effect for residents in portions of Cross Creek, Independence and Jefferson townships and West Middletown was lifted Tuesday morning.

The advisory was issued Saturday for about 310 customers of Pennsylvania American Water due to a water main break.
