Ohio man identified as Mt. Pleasant crash victim

The office of the Washington County coroner has identified an Ohio man as the victim of a fatal crash Monday in Mt. Pleasant Township.

Coroner Timothy Warco identified the victim as 34-year-old Jonathan Molina, of Warren, Ohio.

The crash occurred at about 9:52 a.m. in the 1100 block of State Route 18 when Molina crossed the center line while driving south.

Molina’s vehicle collided head-on with a pickup truck.

According to a report from the coroner, witnesses described Molina as driving erratically before the collision occurred.

Molina was wearing a seat belt. He was declared dead at the scene at 10:31 a.m., and his specific cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.

Mt. Pleasant Township police are investigating the crash.
