Three arrested in Greene drug sting

Three people were arrested in Franklin Township this week after a month-long investigation by the Greene County Drug Task Force.
Charges were filed Thursday against Breya Falconer, 31, of Pittsburgh; William Fields, 34, of Clairton; and Brandon Green, 40, of McKees Rocks.
According to their criminal complaints, a confidential informant was directed to make plans to purchase “Tranq” — a mixture of heroin, fentanyl and xylazine — from Fields at the Residency Inn in Franklin Township.
Charging documents said the three arrived at the scene about 9:23 p.m. Tuesday in a Toyota Highlander, after which investigators ordered them out of the vehicle.
Acting on a search warrant, court documents stated, investigators found 465 glassine bags believed to contain Tranq and crack cocaine. Greene County Det. Timothy Gilbert said in the affidavit a field test of the cocaine tested positive for the drug.
Fields also had marijuana and 15 buprenorphine strips on him, the complaint said.
Fields, who was already under supervision by the Washington County Adult Probation Office, was transported to the Greene County Jail, the sheriff’s office said in a release.
Falconer, Fields and Green were charged with identical felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent, as well as a related conspiracy charge. They also face a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance.
All three are awaiting their preliminary hearing.
