Donora man charged in alleged assault
Donora police charged a man Friday for the alleged assault of his girlfriend.
Thomas Davin, 68, of Donora, faces felony charges of strangulation and aggravated assault, and misdemeanors of unlawful restraint and simple assault.
According to the criminal complaint, the incident occurred around 4 a.m. at Davin’s home in the 1500 block of Meldon Avenue.
Charging documents accuse Davin of putting his hands around Tammy Fernandez’s neck and choking her.
Davin allegedly threatened the victim’s life, and hit her head against the wall multiple times.
There is an active warrant for Davin’s arrest.
