Woman hit by vehicle that fled
A woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a motorist who fled the scene, state police said. Trooper Kalee Barnhart said the woman was hit around 1 p.m. Wednesday on North Morgantown Street in Fairchance. Barnhart said a suspect was taken into custody. The Forensic Services Unit and Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialists were on scene assisting Wednesday afternoon.
