Frosty fun
While the theme was “cold,” Citizen Library was warm and inviting Tuesday for Chrome Federal Credit Union’s Random Act of Kindness Program. “Each year we celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week, and we do a bunch of random acts,” said Jasmine Hughes, Chrome’s AVP of marketing and community relations. “This year we approached the library because my daughter and I sometimes come to Storytime, and we love Citizens Library. We reached out to see if we could partner to do something fun with the kids.” Hughes read the book, “So Cold,” to the kids, and there were a number of activities having a frosty theme, such as creating polar bears. “We’re always thrilled to partner with community organizations,” said Megan Brewer, children’s services manager at the library.
