Nearly a dozen energy companies, government agencies and other community organizations participated in a public forum Wednesday night at Washington & Jefferson College to discuss the new Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub initiative known as ARCH2.

The program allowed local government officials and community and business leaders to visit various tables set up in the college’s Rossin Campus Center to discuss with project partners the ARCH2 plan through the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations that is designed to create and store hydrogen energy in a network across the region.

Similar forums have been held in Ohio and West Virginia.
