Canonsburg Council has formed a committee to start the process of finding a new borough manager.

The committee composed of council President Rich Russo and council members Eric Miller and Diane Richey will work to find a replacement for Billie Bilko, who died July 1. Bilko had been in the position since September.

Council also approved a motion at Monday’s meeting for a matching grant submission to the Washington County Tourism Grant Program for the Experience Canonsburg marketing campaign. The amount is not to exceed $7,162.50, which is 25% of the total project cost of $28,650.

The campaign will involve a marketing/tourism video of the borough.
