State police arrested a McKees Rocks man after he was accused of hitting two pedestrians from Fayette County with his vehicle near The Pavilion at Star Lake following a concert Tuesday night.

Charging documents state that Wayman fled east on Route 22 but was taken into custody shortly after the incident. Police described him as smelling strongly of alcohol.

According to the complaint, Wayman consented to a blood draw.

Wayman was arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge Phillippe Melograne, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $150,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. July 24.
