A South Carolina man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Greene County after his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 79 about 2 miles from the West Virginia border, police said.

Graham Wunderley, 57, of Clover was driving south on I-79 in Perry Township on Monday when he lost control going around a curve, according to state police. At 4:43 p.m., he crossed the median into northbound traffic, hitting the tractor-trailer.

Wunderley was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:31 p.m., Greene County Coroner Gene Rush said in a release.

The coroner’s office said no further information would be available until after an autopsy.

There were no other injuries in the crash, and the tractor-trailer driver was not identified. The tractor-trailer has minor damage, said Trooper Kalee Barnhart.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there was no estimate on the speed of the motorcycle, Barnhart said. The crash remains under investigation.
