The fiance of a Rostraver Township woman often glared angrily at the suspect accused of killing her as he testified about finding her body the afternoon of April 11.

Dorian Coral Jeri-Greene, of Bowie, Md., appeared at the Westmoreland County Courthouse Thursday for his preliminary hearing on felony charges of criminal homicide, robbery, burglary and theft by unlawful taking. District Judge Wayne Vlasic ultimately held all charges for Common Pleas court after more than two hours of testimony.

Jeri-Greene is accused of entering the home of 24-year-old Jennah Marie Seibert at 400 Lenity School Drive the morning of April 11, shooting her multiple times with an AR-15, and stealing multiple pieces of jewelry and Seibert’s Lexus SUV.

“I kissed her forehead and said I’d see her for dinner,” testified Bryan Murray about when he left for work at around 7:40 a.m. Murray added he had made dinner reservations, as they were celebrating the birthday of Seibert’s mother that evening.

Murray said at the hearing that he went to work at a construction job in North Charleroi with Seibert’s father. Seibert was supposed to leave for work not long after, but Murray said neither he nor her father could reach her. They returned to the home, where Murray found her body and called 911.

“I found her in her bed in a pool of blood,” Murray said.

Murray testified that Seibert’s vehicle, a 15 carat diamond necklace, a 14 carat gold chain, an 18 carat gold watch and two firearms were missing from the residence.

Ryan Kammerer, Jeri-Greene’s public defender, questioned if he had ever been to Murray and Seibert’s home before.

According to Murray, a mutual acquaintance brought Jeri-Greene to their house for a Fourth of July party in 2020.

“I didn’t invite him to the party,” Murray said.

During his testimony Murray stared down Jeri-Greene, 39, who was seated in the courtroom wearing a blue prison jumpsuit.

Colleen Naylor, a Rostraver Township police officer, was the first to arrive at the scene. She described Murray as highly emotional.

“He was distraught. He was visibly upset. He was screaming. He was shaking,” Naylor testified.

During the testimony of Westmoreland County Detective Jason Napier, Assistant District Attorney Jeremy Mains presented several pieces of surveillance footage from the home and Monongahela businesses.

Technical issues prevented the footage from being displayed on a larger monitor, so Napier and lawyers crowded around a laptop at the judge’s bench to review the footage, preventing the rest of the courtroom from getting a clear view.

Surveillance footage from 400 Lenity School Drive shows Murray leaving for work and then a person prosecutors allege is Jeri-Greene approaching the house with a firearm.

Napier testified that data provided by Lexus shows Seibert’s vehicle leaving her home and traveling to 32 Lookout Ave., Monongahela, where Jeri-Greene had been staying. The vehicle then went to a parking lot near the intersection of Sycamore and Morton Streets in New Eagle, where it was later recovered by police.

According to Napier’s testimony, Jeri-Greene was captured by security cameras making a purchase at the 7-Eleven at 200 Dry Road, Monongahela. The convenience store was just a few blocks from where the vehicle was found.

Jeri-Greene is accused of selling the gold chain stolen from Seibert’s home at a pawn shop in Tampa, Fla., where he was arrested in May. Napier said that Jeri-Greene provided his driver’s license during the sale. Murray identified the piece of jewelry as belonging to Seibert.

In asking Vlasic to dismiss the charges, Kammerer said the district attorney’s office had not proven that Jeri-Greene was the person captured on the home surveillance or the 7-Eleven footage.

“There has been no evidence to link my client to entering the property,” Kammerer said.

After Vlasic held the charges, Murray walked toward the front of the courtroom and again stared at Jeri-Greene. He was quickly ushered out by Seibert’s parents.

A formal arraignment date for Jeri-Greene in Common Pleas court has not been scheduled.
