Author visits Washington Park Elementary for Read Across America

Author Becky Shinsky, left, visited Washington Park Elementary School on March 5 and read her book, “Bucktooth Becky and Her Silly Headed Siblings,” to students gathered for the Read Across America event. Shinsky is donating the profits from the 40 books that were purchased for the kindergarten through second-grade classrooms to the school’s PFO.
