Primary election today

Today is the off-year primary election that features numerous judicial, county row office, school board and municipal government races.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and mail-in ballots must be returned to a voter’s county elections office no later than 8 p.m. today in order to be counted.
Registered Democrats and Republicans are the only electors who can vote in today’s primary, and the winners within their parties will then face off against each other in the Nov. 4 general election that is open to all voters.
Voters can go online to www.vote.pa.gov to check their registration status, polling location or the status of their mail-in ballot.
