Elections workers in Washington County were busy Tuesday morning pre-canvassing the more than 14,000 mail-in ballots the office received for the off-year election.

Workers sorted the mail-in ballots for processing before handing them over to nearly two dozen other workers stationed at tables in the Crossroads Center building’s meeting room as they count the mail-in votes from Tuesday’s election.
