The Fayette County coroner’s office Wednesday released the names of the victims of a fatal three-vehicle crash in Henry Clay Township.

Delroy Henry, 66, of Hollywood, Fla.; Nikki Jo Rugg, 31, of Markleysburg, Fayette County; and Michael Brown, 34, of Martinsburg, W. Va., were identified as those killed in the Monday crash along Route 40 near Dark Hollow Road.

Henry was driving a tractor-trailer eastbound on Route 40 when he crossed into the westbound lane and hit a Ford pickup truck driven by Rugg head-on. The pickup then hit into a Chevrolet van head-on. Brown was a passenger in that van.

Henry, Rugg and Brown were each pronounced dead at the scene of the 5:30 p.m. crash.

The van’s driver, along with four other passengers, were taken to local hospitals for treatment and evaluation after the crash.

Public identification of the victims had been delayed so their families could be notified.

“We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers today, along with the members of the community and first responders,” Coroner Dr. Bob Baker said in the release.
