Police officer shoots man in McDonald
State Police in Washington are investigating an incident in which a McDonald Police officer shot a man Friday night.
According to Washington County 911, the shooting took place at about 9 p.m. at Michael’s Tavern at 341 East Lincoln Ave. The shooting victim was taken to a hospital. His condition was unknown as of Saturday morning.
Numerous police departments responded to the scene along with state police. They included McDonald, Smith Township, Cecil Township, Mt. Pleasant, North Strabane and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
