PennWest California plans homecoming
Homecoming 2025 will be celebrated at PennWest California with the theme, “This is ‘Caloweentown.”
Student events will be held Oct. 12-20. The traditional Homecoming parade and football game is Oct. 18.
Festivities on Oct. 18 begin at 10 a.m. on the Duda Hall lawn with a number of activities, including bounce houses, a petting zoo and food trucks. The parade is scheduled for noon.
At 3 p.m., the Vulcans host Clarion at Adamson Stadium, with the crowing of the Homecoming King and Queen at halftime. Also, the Vulcans women’s soccer team takes on Gannon at 1 p.m., followed by the school’s men’s teams squaring off at 3 p.m. at Phillipsburg Field.
Homecoming festivities wrap up Oct. 20 with a night of hockey at Rostraver Ice Garden, featuring California vs. Robert Morris, a public skate session, sled hockey demonstrations, and special appearances from members of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Paralympic gold medalists.
