Mon Valley Paws will sponsor Dine and Donate on Thursday, Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Italian Club, 112 7th St., Monessen. The menu is a chicken and biscuit dinner with mashed potatoes and dessert. A portion of the proceeds will go to Mon Valley Paws. A Holiday Craft Market will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Heritage Public Library, 52 Fourth St., McDonald. In addition to crafters, there will be raffle baskets, a bake sale, door prizes and a kids’ area.

Giant Oaks Garden Club’s Tinsel luncheon and fundraiser will be held on Friday, Nov. 1 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe. Tickets are $40 and include a lunch, vendor shopping and raffle.

Citizens Library in Washington is offering a free after school exploratory language program for students in grades 4-12 who are interested in learning Italian, Spanish and French. There is no cost, but registration is required by calling 724-222-2400. The classes meet every Monday from Nov. 3 through Dec. 8 from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m.

The Center Twp VFD Auxiliary will be serving food at the firehall in Rogersville on Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Breakfast is sausage and biscuits; lunch is Italian sausage, sloppy Joe or hot dogs; dinner is creamed chicken over biscuits, mashed potatoes, vegetable, beverage and desert. Proceeds benefit the auxiliary.
