CALIFORNIA

Disorderly conduct at game: A Natrona Heights man was arrested Friday night after he berated his son at the California Area High School football game and then allegedly fought with police officers as he was being escorted from the stadium. California school officials asked Richard Kennedy to leave the stadium over his behavior after he threw a bottle of water at his son and drenched him, according to court documents. As Kennedy was being escorted out by California Borough police, he allegedly fought with officers, who brought him to the ground to take him into custody, police said. The officers suffered minor injuries from the incident, according to court documents. Kennedy, 51, was charged with two felony counts each of aggravated assault and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, simple assault and criminal mischief, and he is being held at the Washington County jail on $20,000 percentage bond.

Pregnant woman assaulted: Cordaro Lamont Jackson, 36, of Charleroi, is facing numerous charges after Donora police said he assaulted his pregnant ex-girlfriend Saturday night. Police said Jackson went to the Watkins Avenue home about 5:30 p.m. and broke through a screen door to enter the residence. Police said he then attacked the woman, who is two or three months pregnant, grabbing her hair and slamming her to the ground, punching her in the face and kicking her in the stomach. Police said he also threatened to kill the woman. Jackson is charged with aggravated assault, burglary, trespassing, simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment.
