PennDOT launches website to help Draft drivers get around

1 min read

A new website will help NFL Draft visitors navigate traffic congestion and provide average drive times in the greater Pittsburgh region.

On www.511PA.com/map/page/NFL, the state Department of Transportation will provide enhanced real-time travel information for the estimated 600,000 people attending the Draft this Thursday through Saturday.

The web page includes the average travel time for primary routes. Users can see incidents, construction, traffic cameras, traffic speeds, and message board displays on the map. PennDOT will be activating an additional 40 cameras in the area throughout the event to enhance monitoring of current traffic conditions, as well as 32 additional message boards to help direct travelers. The page also includes public transportation maps and a link to Pittsburgh Regional Transit.
