Man killed in Fallowfield Township fire

Firefighters at the scene of a fatal fire in Fallowfield Township Monday morning.
A Fallowfield Township man died Monday morning after his home caught fire.
Emergency crews were called to 33 Smith St. shortly after 8:30 a.m. According to a report from Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco, 66-year-old George Steven Milliken was found inside and transported to Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.
Milliken was declared dead at 9:44 a.m. A specific cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
Fire departments from Fallowfield, Charleroi and Bentleyville responded to the scene.
The state police fire marshal is investigating the cause.
