North Franklin Township has issued a snow emergency from 6 a.m. Sunday until noon Monday.

Supervisor Chairman Bob Sabot, who also is the township emergency management coordinator, asked residents to clear the streets of parked vehicles to make it easier for township public service employees to plow and salt roads.

“This will be a big storm, and residents need to have patience,” Sabot said. “We have good equipment and enough salt to get it done.”
