According to the criminal complaint, on Friday Banks’ girlfriend reported to police that Banks had punched and choked her while she was holding their child.

Charging documents state that police saw pictures of the injuries and that the alleged victim had redness around her neck and on her face.

Banks was arraigned Saturday morning before District Judge Mark Wilson, who sent him to the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Feb. 5.
