Canonsburg Fire Department kicks off Kennywood fundraiser

The Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department will launch its 82nd annual Kennywood Park fundraising effort next week, with tickets available Monday through Wednesday.
Park admission tickets will be sold from noon till 8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, plus 8 a.m. till noon on Wednesday at the department’s fire hall at 1 Greenside Ave. in Canonsburg.
Funds generated by the ticket sale will support the department’s ongoing efforts to upgrade firefighting equipment and apparatus, according to Mayor David Rhome.
