Coin club meeting
The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be July 14 at 7:30 p.m at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. All members and the general public are invited. This month’s program will be the annual summer pizza party celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary. A 50/50 will be offered, and children’s prizes will be awarded. Pilates classes
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair will offer Pilates classes on Wednesdays, July 15 through August 26, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. for $60. Staffen reunion

Flea market vendors
The Church of the Atonement, located at 618 Washington Ave., Carnegie, is looking for vendors to sell flea-market or craft items from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 18. Those interested can call Joyce at 412-276-0366 to register for a space for $10. Please bring a table or blanket, a chair and what you plan to sell. Tarps are not permitted.
Pet memorial walk
Mon Valley Paws will host a pet memorial mile on July 18 at the DiVirgilio Sports Complex in Rostraver Township. The pet memorial mile walk is designed to remember pets who have passed. This is a rain-or-shine event. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the walk begins at 8:30. There will be refreshments, baskets and raffles on site. Members of Michael’s Ovation will be on site with the Michael Shaffer Pet Memorial Bridge. Participants in the walk will be able to place their pet’s collar (collars will be supplied if needed) on the bridge in exchange for a monetary donation. All money collected from the Memorial Bridge will be used to support the Michael Shaffer Memorial Pet Food Fund for the four partnered shelters and rescues of Mon Valley Paws. Painters club meeting
The next meeting of the Golden Triangle Decorative Painters will be on Sunday, July 19, at the Finleyville I.O.O.F. Hall, 3684 Finleyville-Elrama Road, Finleyville. This meeting will be an open house, and those interested are invited to paint a picture, enjoy a picnic lunch and watch demos in different mediums for free. The surface, paint and brushes will be provided. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and painting will start at 10 a.m. A fall retreat is planned for October 22-25 at the Crestfield Camp and Conference Center in Slippery Rock. Faith and fitness classes
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair will host free faith-and-fitness classes to move, lift spirits and strengthen faith. Classes are set for July 20, 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday, August 15, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Easy-to-follow fitness movements set to inspiring contemporary Christian music. Music camp
Mon Valley Academy for the Arts will hold a free “Listen Up” Summer Music Camp July 20-23 at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. Session times are 10 to 11:15 a.m. for ages 4 to 8 and 1 to 2:15 p.m. for ages 9 to 14. Parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend alongside their children. Pet fundraiser
Mon Valley Paws will host an outdoor dine-and-donate event at Bloom Brew, 100 Riverside Drive, West Newton, on July 25, 3 to 9 p.m. Behaved pets on leashes are permitted. MVP will have baskets, 50-50, raffles and shirts for sale. MVP will collect pet food. Donors of pet supplies will have the opportunity to win a gift card from Pet Supplies Plus in Belle Vernon.
