Declaration of Independence read aloud

Doug Wilson recites the Declaration of Independence at Greene County Veterans Memorial Park in Waynesburg Wednesday. Ceremonies in Fayette and Greene counties commemorated the 250th anniversary last week of the first public readings of the Declaration of Independence. Reading sites included the steps of the Fayette County Courthouse in Uniontown and Veterans Park in Waynesburg.
