Pilates classes
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair will offer Pilates classes on Wednesdays, July 15 through August 26, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. for $60. Meadow Lands Food Pantry
Meadow Lands Food Pantry, 300 W. Pike St., announces an updated schedule for the pantry:
July 25, Aug. 22, Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 21 and Dec. 19. Hours are 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
July begins the requalifications. This will start at 8 a.m., followed by distribution at 8:30.
Faith and fitness classes
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair will host free faith-and-fitness classes to move, lift spirits and strengthen faith. Classes are set for July 20, 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. and Saturday, August 15, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Easy-to-follow fitness movements set to inspiring contemporary Christian music. Mankey reunion
The Oliver Mankey family and friends will hold their annual reunion at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 26, at Amwell Township Park. Paper products and drinks will be provided.
Swihart reunion
The Swihart family will celebrate their 100-year reunion on Sunday, Aug. 2, at Amwell Township Park. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m. Family and friends are welcome. Bring photos and a dish to share.
Locy reunion
Descendants of Harry Austin Locy and Grace Closser Locy will hold their family reunion at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Prosperity Park. Bring a covered dish, dessert, wrapped white elephant gift and Chinese auction gift. Meats, buns, beverages and paper products will be provided.
Music camp
Mon Valley Academy for the Arts will hold a free “Listen Up” Summer Music Camp July 20-23 at the Peter J. Daley Cultural Center, 119 Brownsville Ave., Brownsville. Session times are 10 to 11:15 a.m. for ages 4 to 8 and 1 to 2:15 p.m. for ages 9 to 14. Parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend alongside their children. Park yoga
The Yoga in Mingo Creek County Park will be held on July 22 at 6 p.m. The group will meet at the Mingo Creek County Park Group Camping – Log Cabin Area, which is located near the Observatory. Join certified yoga instructor Summer Voelker for an introductory yoga class; all skill levels are welcome. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel. A fee of $5 will be charged.
Garden club meeting
The Martha Washington Garden Club will hold a flower show and rummage sale titled “Happy 250th Birthday, America!” It will be held at Amvets National Headquarters, 265 North Ave. Washington. Admission is free. The group asks for donations of items for the rummage sale. It runs July 24, 1 to 4 p.m., and July 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pet fundraiser
Mon Valley Paws will host an outdoor dine-and-donate event at Bloom Brew, 100 Riverside Drive, West Newton, on July 25, 3 to 9 p.m. Behaved pets on leashes are permitted. MVP will have baskets, 50-50, raffles and shirts for sale. MVP will collect pet food. Donors of pet supplies will have the opportunity to win a gift card from Pet Supplies Plus in Belle Vernon. Casual church gathering
First United Methodist Church of Canonsburg, 161 West Pike St., will host a “Meet Jesus at the Table” gathering on Aug. 1 at 5 p.m. The service is a casual gathering in the church library with Pastor Deb Rogosky sharing stories, communion and light refreshments. All are welcome to attend. Meetings are on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
