The Fayette County Coroner’s Office released additional details they hope can be used to identify a man found in the Youghiogheny River near Dawson Sunday night.

The office released a black-and-white photo Monday of a tattoo of a mountain range the man had on his right shoulder.

The man was 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 182 pounds, and somewhere between 25 and 40 years old, Coroner Dr. Bob Baker said in the release. He was earlier described as a bald white man with an athletic build.

The coroner’s office also released details of what the man was wearing when he was found: a burnt orange-colored Mountain Hardware jacket, Black Diamond grey pants and brown/green muck boots in a size 8.

Fishermen found the man around 7:35 p.m. Sunday night, state police said.

Baker said an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.

He asked the public to call 724-430-1270 with any information that could help identify the man.
