Donora police charge three with child endangerment
Donora police charged three people Tuesday after an unsupervised toddler was found near a firearm.
Timothy Allen Pace, 37, Kaden Pace-Davis, 19, and McKenzie Rose Fisher, 18, all face a felony charge of endangering the welfare of children.
According to the criminal complaint, Washington County Probation informed Donora police last week that Pace was in possession of a firearm despite being a convicted felon.
Police went to a home in the 100 block of South Mellon Avenue, where all three defendants live, and searched Pace’s room.
According to the complaint, Pace-Davis’ and Fisher’s 20-month-old child was lying on the mattress in Pace’s room unsupervised. Police found a loaded handgun on the floor at the head of the bed, as well as medical marijuana, court documents state.
Police said the firearm was reported stolen in 2023.
Pace also faces felony charges of prohibited possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property.
District Judge Mark Wilson sent Pace and Pace-Davis to the Washington County jail on $50,000 bond following their arraignment Tuesday morning. Fisher has not been arraigned.
