Graduates listen as Thomas Rooney of the Class of 1993, who is a former congressman, Army veteran and the current president and CEO of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, gives the commencement address. Drawing from his experiences in public service and leadership, Rooney encouraged the graduates to stay engaged with their communities, invest in meaningful relationships and approach the future with purpose, discipline and authenticity.
