The Washington Rebels 12 and under baseball team volunteered their time on Friday to place American flags on veterans' graves at Washington Cemetery in advance of Memorial Day. It is the third year in a row the Rebels, a travel team affiliated with Washington Youth Baseball, have participated in the annual community service tradition. The initiative teaches the young players about gratitude, respect, and honoring those who sacrificed for the country. [Washington Rebels]
