A woman involved in a UTV crash in Hanover Township over the weekend has died.

Lynn Williams, 44, of Burgettstown, died early Tuesday morning at a Pittsburgh hospital after suffering serious injuries in the crash Saturday night, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.

State police said they responded to the UTV crash in Kings Creek on private property near the 100 block of Clydes Road in Hanover Township shortly before 8:30 p.m.

Williams suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was initially taken to Weirton Hospital in West Virginia, but later transported to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh, police said. She was pronounced dead at the hospital about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, the medical examiner’s office said.

Investigators said other people were likely around when the crash occurred, and asked any witnesses to contact them at the barracks in Moon Township at 412-299-1607.

Troopers were assisted in the investigation by Weirton police officers, and the Washington County District Attorney’s office also visited to the scene.
