One dead in Georges Township shooting
A Fayette County man has died after an alleged shooting Sunday afternoon.
Georges Township resident Shaun Micheal Davis, 39, was found on the floor with a gunshot wound at his Walnut Hill Road residence, according to a release from Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).
According to the release, a PSP trooper was dispatched to the scene after 1 p.m. after receiving a report of “a domestic incident … involving a firearm and shots fired.”
Davis later died of his injuries en route to Uniontown Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no threat to the public, according to the release.
