The McDonald Police Department has identified a vandal who is suspected of breaking a police car window in April.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, Jacob Matthew Tigner, 30, of McDonald, is facing a charge of institutional vandalism. According to online court records, charges have not yet been filed.

According to McDonald police, on the evening of April 20, Tigner allegedly shattered the rear driver’s side window of a police vehicle at 151 School St. The suspect was captured by security cameras as he walked around the McDonald borough building with a metal baseball bat while wearing gloves and a black balaclava.

Police said Tigner had fled the state and was arrested in Dallas County, Iowa.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, Tigner was arrested June 9 by the West Des Moines Police Department on a fugitive warrant out of Pennsylvania.

The sheriff’s department said he was booked in the county jail and extradited to Pennsylvania.

Tigner was charged May 1 by Mt. Pleasant Township police with misdemeanors of terroristic threats, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, on April 29 at a home in the 500 block of Valley Street, Robinson Township, Tigner threatened to kill his girlfriend. He is also accused of breaking the driver’s mirror of her vehicle and damaging a mailbox.

Tigner was arraigned in the terroristic threat case on July 2. District Judge Louis McQuillan sent him to the Washington County jail without bond.
